My husband Chris and I are constantly doing small projects around the house. We have numerous “almost there” projects. For example, we had put up faux shiplap on two of our walls in our living room and painted them white, we had set to do one more layer of paint, but it has been about four months since we last touched the wall. Accepting the fact that it MIGHT NOT happen, I took to Pinterest and then Jo-Ann Fabrics. I have been wanting to add color to our walls, but keeping the decoration minimal and modern. I came across some awesome ideas for DIY yarn wall wecor, got a good idea and went to town with my own version. I’m a small business owner and a mama of a 2 year old, so I wasn’t looking at doing anything too time consuming, so I kept mine pretty simple.
As I've gotten a little "older," I've truly realized the importance of taking care of my skin. This is especially important when I break out of my routine like on our trip to Maui. One of my favorite places on earth fits that bill because of all the magical spots--you've got the beautiful beaches of the north shore, the dry terrain of the Lahaina area, and the magical hike through the Bamboo Forest on the Road to Hana. To keep my skin happy, hydrated and glowing on all
our adventures I'm sharing some of my favorites tips and products for your next vacation.
I love watching my baby grow, and I am sure that I am not alone when I say that I want to keep her small and in my arms forever! But the inevitable happens and she grows and learns new things everyday! She has recently transitioned (and is still transitioning) to solids, in addition to her several bottles of milk a day! I have listed a few tips that I have learned along the way. I hope you find these tips helpful as you start this new adventure of transitioning your little love bug to eating solid foods.
There is nothing like the magic that Disney brings to it's theme parks and resorts, with Fort Wilderness Campgrounds being no exception. From the very front parking entrance where the helping hands told fun jokes to my kids in the back seat as we checked in, to the Chip 'n' Dale campfire experience, all the way to the Magic Kingdom fireworks being in view at the beach...magic. This was our kids first camping experience and something tells me it will never be topped. I want to share all the ins and outs to camping at Ft. Wilderness with kids so you are prepared for your visit!
