When you have your first baby you buy all the toys, you do all the research, buy all the developmentally appropriate items for baby. Second baby comes along and you pull out the toys you purchased for your first little bundle, some need new batteries that you will get around to replacing at some point and the other half have lost the pieces. Your child doesn't care if they are missing pieces, and plays with them all of 2 seconds until they spy their big siblings toys.
I'm here to share some of my favorites for moms of two that will keep them and you happy. Seriously, all things will be shared now, so you might as well think for two when on the hunt for new items for your little ones.
Ok, if there is one thing you need to buy when you have a second child, it's a DockATot. We have no joke used this all over the place in our house, vacation, beach and poolside. You name it--our DockATot has joined us. I loved that I could set my babe down quickly when my big little needed me. They also have an amazing new toy arch that my son could stare at forever. I love that this can continue to be used for sleep even when they get bigger as it unbuckles at the end for more wiggle room. Some other things our DockATot is good for: resting, supervised tummy time, bed transitioning and even story time with big brother.

Ok, I have boys. Although I can't buy all the cute dresses and bows--I'm still mildly obsessed with clothes for them. One of my favorite places to purchase their PJ's is Finn and Emma. All of their clothes are 100% organic cotton and made with non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes. I love that I know where these are coming from, and that there are no chemicals involved. They also offer wooden toys like this Mom Rattle Teether and their new Big Buddy 15" hand knit stuffed animals.

When I had Bennett, I saw these rockers and finally got some for both boys last month! I love that these are made in the USA with a water based Sherwin Williams lacquer, the finest North American maple wood, and fine fabric from all over the world. The seat is very plush, and offers buttons that your tot can push that sings educational songs about the alphabet, shapes, and numbers that your child will for sure be singing for hours.

Incredibundles is just that--incredible bundles. These bundles are packaged with gifts for babies and toddlers and include book bundles, bath bundles, and even a one year supply of diapers! We chose the Toddler Play and Learn Bundle. This bundle included a set of wooden blocks, a colorful wooden shape sorter, and a wooden drum. I love that these toys can grow with him, are open ended, and can even be shared with his big brother.

If you want to talk about the coolest items that are great for both kiddos, these are it! We teach our little ones to use a plate fairly early and the ones that have sticky bottoms are definitely a plus. I also love that my littlest can use their weighted straw sippy cup since it will go whichever way he tips it. The last thing that is a gotta have is thesnack pack! We go on walks every morning and I usually put Bennett's breakfast in this and take it along. It works great for fruit on one side and a waffle or granola bar on the other side. You can check out their other innovative, fun colored items here.
